Recipe: Jen's Energy Shift Morning Matcha

We asked our INBLOOM team to share their "everyday faves" - simple ways they're using INBLOOM to add nutrition to their daily routine. Our head of talent Jen likes to start her day with a warm Energy Shift matcha latte.

"I'm not like a six-coffees-a-day type girl, but ever since I had my kiddo earlier this year, having something to give me a little boost in the morning has definitely been crucial. I love making matcha lattes with oat milk - it feels like a treat I can look forward to waking up to. I'm sure there are ways to get fancy with the recipe, but honestly first thing in the morning that's just not where I'm at!"

If you'd like to add a little bit of a twist to your matcha latte, a squeeze of lemon, dash of pumpkin pie spice, or even tiny sprinkle of cayenne chile powder can kick your morning up a notch.

Ingredients

  • Plant milk (we recommend oat and hemp if you're looking for water-conscious milk alternatives)
  • Two scoops of Energy Shift
  • Optional seasonings of your choice

Directions

  • 1) Warm your plant milk (microwave works great, or use the stovetop to enjoy the sweet aroma of gently warming plant sugars and proteins)
  • 2) Spoon your Energy Shift to your favorite mug
  • 3) Pour in about a third of your steaming plant milk and mix vigorously
  • 4) Fill up the rest of your mug with your warm plant milk and give a few final stirs
  • 5) Add spices or seasonings as you find yourself inspired to do
